Zoe Eloise Harrison, born on 14 April 1998, has established herself as one of England’s premier playmakers. Comfortable at fly-half or centre, she has been a key figure for both England and Saracens Women, combining tactical intelligence with outstanding goal-kicking ability.
Harrison made her senior international debut in 2017 and quickly developed into one of the Red Roses’ most dependable players. Her career has been filled with major honours, from Grand Slam victories in the Women’s Six Nations to lifting the 2025 Rugby World Cup trophy. At club level, she has spent her entire senior career with Saracens, helping the club secure multiple league titles while consistently delivering in the biggest matches.

Harrison made her senior debut for Saracens Women during the 2016–17 season and was immediately recognised as the club’s Players’ Player of the Year.
She earned her first England cap in 2017, making three appearances during the autumn internationals. Her debut came against Canada in a convincing 79–5 victory.
In 2019, Harrison received a full-time England contract and played every match of the Women’s Six Nations, starting the final three fixtures as England completed a Grand Slam. She also featured in all of England’s Super Series matches in San Diego.
She played throughout the 2020 Women’s Six Nations, before briefly missing England’s opening match of the 2021 Six Nations after breaching the team’s COVID-19 protocols by failing to sign into the squad’s monitoring app. She returned later that year for England’s friendly against France.
Harrison was selected for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup, staged in New Zealand during 2022, further cementing her place among England’s leading players.

5) Personal Life
Zoe Harrison began playing rugby at the age of five with Tring. Rugby runs in the family—her father, John Harrison, represented Wales at schoolboys’ level, while her brother, Alex, has played for Wasps reserves.
Despite experiencing bullying during her school years because of her passion for rugby, Harrison continued to pursue the sport. At just 14, she joined the England Women talent development group before progressing through representative rugby with Welwyn, Hertfordshire County, South East, England U18s Sevens, and England U20s.
Away from the pitch, Harrison studied at Hartpury College on the AASE Girls Rugby Programme before attending Middlesex University, where she gained a qualification in Sports Rehabilitation and Exercise. She also serves as an Umbro ambassador.
