Biography

Nadine Roos (born 9 May 1996) is a South African rugby union and rugby sevens player. She grew up in challenging circumstances after being abandoned by her mother at a preschool in South Africa. Her grandmother traveled more than 250 kilometers to take care of her and became a central figure in her life. Before rugby, Roos excelled in athletics, particularly in hurdles, and later earned a bursary to study at the University of Pretoria, where she was first introduced to rugby.

In addition to rugby, Roos has competed at an elite level in fitness competitions, including participating in the 2021 CrossFit Games, a testament to her athletic versatility and determination.
