France

France displayed a robust challenge, finishing second with a dramatic last-minute win against England in their final game. Their only draw came against Italy, showing some inconsistencies, but their overall performance remained competitive, making them a formidable opponent in the series.

England

England finished third, with three wins and two losses. Their games were marked by narrow margins, including a one-point victory over Wales and a one-point loss to France in a crucial match. England showed resilience and capability to compete at the highest levels but lacked consistency to clinch the top spot.

Scotland

Scotland had a mixed tournament, finishing fourth. They managed two wins, including a notable victory against England, showcasing their potential to challenge stronger teams. However, their performance was not consistent enough to push for a higher finish.

Italy

Italy showed significant improvement from previous tournaments, managing to draw against France and secure two wins, including a notable victory over Wales. This marked a step forward for the Italian squad, indicating positive developments under their new coaching setup.

Wales

Wales had a tough tournament, finishing without a win and claiming the wooden spoon. Their performances were often competitive, but they struggled to close out games, which reflected in their last-place finish. This tournament highlighted areas needing improvement for the Welsh team to regain competitive form.
